About Us

Flags International® is a flag/banner/flagpole specialty firm that was created in April, 1970, near South Bend, Indiana. In 1978 the firm built the "Castle of Flags© ," a  building that resembles a castle with many flags flying. The  National Flag Foundation described the building  as "one of the most unique flag shops in the world."

This specialty flag company is recognized as a national and international dealership, offering more than 70 varieties of flags, including the American flag, flags for all 50 states and territories of the U.S., nearly all nations in the world and is reputed to offer (possibly), "the widest selection of flag-related items in the Nation!" (Dettra Flag Co.).

Flags International® also offers a comprehensive line of residential and commercial flagpoles and accessories, as well as installation service.

We also offer flags and banners for the home and garden, for U.S. Colleges and universities and for most sports organizations.  In addition, Flags International® offers patches, decals and advertising/promotional items.

 Custom design work is one of our specialties.  We can help you develop, design and create your own flag,   banner or other marketable soft signage for whatever your needs.  Peter has been with Flags International for two years as our full time Graphic Artist.  His creativity and skill will help you bring your ideas to "life".  Ask Peter for advice on designs and messages with our different product lines that may work best for you.  customflags@flagsinternational.com

Not everyone can claim to have a full time experience staff person that specializes in flagpoles but we can!  Hector has been with Flags International for eight years and has worked hard to become our Director of Flagpole Services.  Hector has installed and repaired hundreds of flagpoles over his eight years and is able to give you the best advice and service possible.  Whether you are just thinking about getting a new flagpole or you have problems or questions with your old flagpole, Hector is the one you want to speak to.  Call Hector or e-mail him at flagpoles@flagsinternational.com

David is the General Manager for Flags International.  David has been with Flags International since 2000 and has held many positions within the company prior to becoming General Manager.  David is the primary representative of Flags International in the community.  David is always happy to assist customers with any question or problem they have and can provide that professional advice from years of experience.

  Mary is our Accouting Coordinator.  Mary handles all of our accounting from accounts payable to receivable   and is our authority on Flags International's fiscal records.  Mary is happy to speak with customers that may have questions about their account.  Please feel free to call Mary if you have any questions or need any assistance with your account or you can e-mail her at accounting@flagsinternational.com .

Sue is our head seamstress at Flags International.   Flags International is one of the few flag companies that offer rehemming services for United States flags.  Sue also specializing in custom applique work, customizing sports flags for tailgating, and other custom boat flags.  With a huge assortment of nylon material, we can find a color to work for most custom applications.  If you have questions about a repair or custom flag, Sue can help.
