On behalf of the Mishawaka Police Department, Jim Szuba's family and the City of Mishawaka, we want to extend our most sincere appreciation to you and to everyone at Flags International for your generosity of the 300 flags donation to John Young Middle School, and notes of sympathy during the sad events of the past few weeks.

Unfortunately, the tragic loss of Officer Szuba and Ricky have left their family, our Mishawaka Police Department, the city of Mishawaka and our entire community with a very sad loss to endure. However, we are very grateful to our community and wonderful friends like those of you at Flags International who stepped up to comfort us with your kindness and generosity.

The Flags I received are beutiful and of course, I fly mine with great pride!! Saturday, I had a very interesting event with several people who fly flags. It was a retirement ceremony for their torn and/or faded flags. It was attended by several officers from our local Sheriffs Dept. and certainly very impressive. I took the booklet you sent with my order and several people wanted to know if it was possible for me to recived two or three copies. It is the booklet telling all about the flags, their use and just about everything one should know about our American Flag.

I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks for your handling of my recent order.

I received an e-mail saying that the flag had to be made to order. When I explained that it was for a funeral, I was assured that I would receive my flag the next day. Later I received a phone call to let me know that the flag was being made as we spoke and would arrive on time.

My family was able to honor the last wishes of a dearly loved father, and we have an incredible heirloom to cherish and pass on to future generations. The flag is perfectly made and we will honor and cherish it forever.

Just wanted you to know that I just got off the phone with Peter who took the order for the Honduran and Nicaraguan flags we needed. Very polite young man and very careful about details. We give directions to our house using it as a marker.

Thank you so much for all your time and effort that made it possible to have the flagpole installed. A pole in a container and a flag in a box are just things, but when you put the pole up and attach the flag, they just seem to come to life.

Your skill in installing a "perfectly leveled" pole was top notch. I have included some pictures that show what a great job you did.
