FEDERAL LAW MANDATES FLYING OF the POW/MIA FLAG
on
Veteran’s Day
November 11, 2000
Public Law 105-85 requires
that the POW/MIA flag be flown on Veteran’s Day at:
· The White House
·
The Capitol
·
The Korean War Veteran’s
Memorial
· The Vietnam Veteran’s
Memorial
· Each National Cemetery
· United States Post Offices
· and other selected locations
To honor the sacrifices of
these individuals and their families, perhaps, more of us should consider
flying the POW/MIA flag on Veteran’s Day.
